Aspects of the Third Level: Environmental Sanctuaries

Sometimes the Third Level can manifest itself literally as a place. Such a location, or sanctuary, serves to focus and clear the mind, freeing it of the detritus of second level thought. These sacred and near-sacred spaces can be found anywhere, and take many forms, though the trinity always serves a potent role.

One such enclave of mental purification was recently discovered in Plymouth Minnesota, USA. Oddly enough the structure is an ice-fishing-house located on frozen Medicine Lake. The temporary nature of this real estate means that the building will only exist for a handful of weeks. By the time you read this it may well be too late. The idyllic setting and the minimalist palette of the ice and snow can be all that's necessary to achieve third order brain chemistry.
Such locations prime the visitor for stunning realizations.

A variety of audio events are associated with Third Level environments and this example is no exception. Foreigner's classic "I've Been Waiting for a Girl Like You" can dimly be heard from the Third Level if one listens hard enough.

The Third Level Has Always Existed

The Third Level has always existed, and will always exist. Don't let the relative youth of this page deceive you. This is just an experiment, attempting to reach new audiences and spread Third Level thinking.

Long ago people realized that the world had a certain aspect, then they realized how horrifyingly easy it was for people to lose sight of this truth. Countless religions and philosophies have been founded with intention of bringing lives closer to the Third Level. The bearer of the message is unimportant.

Certain things are bound to repeat in our increasingly global culture. Scientists have discovered recipes for high electrolyte beverages in both Egyptian and Chinese cultures. Warriors were once given these ceremonial drinks, and now we have Gatorade. Invented by Dr. J. Robert Cade and brewed by highly trained adepts in the everglades for young warriors across the world.

The Third Level is no different. Full circles abound, repetitions and recurrences are scattered across the history of theological and philosophical discourse; wherever rigorous thought triumphed over cultural superstitions the Third Level has always existed.
